One of the ways in which Kingswood builds community and a sense of belonging is through several classes engaging in regular ,weekly activities through Big and Little Buddies.  Here, students in a K/1 class work with students in a grade 5/6 class on a common activity.  This builds a sense of leadership and accomplishment in our older students, as they model activities and provide assistance to our younger learners.  This also builds strong and positive relationships among students, which carries over into other schoolwide events, hallway interactions, and during outside recess and lunch breaks.  Relationships are central to feeling connected, and this is one way we are achieving this here at Kingswood.
