After receiving input and feedback from both staff and students in the late Spring of 2022, we then dug deeper into our school community values and identity as Kingswood Eagles.  "We are all Kingswood E.A.G.L.E.S."---what do these shared and core values mean to our students?  This is one example of bringing our senior students together collectively for a full morning of fun team/community building activities, and then having students work together collaboratively to brainstorm the following questions around these values:

•ACCOUNTABILITY

•GROWTH MINDSET

•LEADERSHIP

•ECO-FRIENDLY

•SUCCESS

The questions asked at each chart paper were:

1.  What does this value mean to you?

2.  What does this value sound like at school?

3.  What does this value look like at school?

4.  What would you like to see/do (in terms of cultivating this value)?

We next looked at putting the students' voices together to see how we could make our values reflect their ideas and input as we continued to work collectively to continue to build a shared vision of what it means to be Kingswood E.A.G.L.E.S.!  By developing a shared vision and common language around what it means to be a part of the Kingswood community, the goals are to continue to develop a strong sense of community and belonging---which lend themselves to Social and Emotional Learning for all.
