Our staff, along with district support staff, Connie Easton,looked at what our SEL vision looked like for Kingswood.  We know that there were pockets of support happening in various classrooms, but we felt it was important to come together as a staff to see what we were doing as a school community to support SEL.  Ultimately, we wanted to develop a common vision/goal for SEL at Kingswood.  This activity was an important step in developing a more cohesive, school wide approach to SEL.  We also shared our information with Connie Easton, and worked with local artist , Tristan Miller, to develop an SEL visioning board for the school.  Next step?  Adding our students' voices about what our SEL visioning statement will say......
