In June 2019, the Richmond RCMP detachment challenged our Grades 6/7 boys and girls teams to a lunchtime basketball game on our outdoor courts.  Children from grades K-7 sat on the grass and cheered both teams on!  It was a fantastic way for our basketball players to end their season, while also connecting with the RCMP officers in our local community.  These community outreach initiatives are so crucial in helping develop positive, strong connections with our local support agencies, such as the RCMP.  We are so thankful that they came out to make this fun event happen!
