June 2025 Actions Post

Divisions 9 and 10 in Pod D took part in an inquiry grant and focused on the question below:

How might the physical set up of a classroom and student choice in seating, workspace and play space impact student learning?

The grant enabled the school to purchase items to build a collaborative and creative space for children to play together and use their imaginations. This space has been active for the month of June.  Teachers have noted that the student are highly engaged in the new space and appear to be playing with increased curiosity and creativity.  More time will be needed to observe how students are using the space.
