Kingswood Elementary Families,

I hope you have been enjoying a wonderful and relaxing summer. As we move towards next Tuesday, students and staff are getting more and more excited for the start of another school year and the opportunity to see everyone in our school community. 
 

Our first school day next week will be on Tuesday September 2nd.  
 

Tuesday, Sept. 2nd is Not a full day of school. 

First Day of School – Tuesday, September 2nd

Our first day of school is Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025. Shown below are the different start and end times for Grade 1-7 students and for New Kindergarten Students on our first day of school.

 
• Students in Grades 1-7 attend for 1 hour (8:45am-9:45am) 

• New Kindergarten students attend for 1 hour (9:00am-10:00am) 

Grade 1-7 Students (8:45am-9:45am)

All returning students and new students in grades 1 to 7 attend at this time on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd, 2025

• Returning students will enter the school at their last year's classroom door
• New students to Kingswood, please come to the Front Entrance Door. Mr. Mason will welcome you at the Front Entrance Door at 8:45am and show you and your parents to your classroom.

Moving forward, starting Wednesday September 3rd, all Grade 1-7 students will attend for full days from 8:40am to 2:45pm. Students can enter the school at their last year’s classroom door starting at 8:40am each day.

New Kindergarten Students (9:00pam-10:00am)

We are very excited to welcome our New Kindergarten Students!

On Tuesday, September 2nd, all New Kindergarten Students will be welcomed into the school at Door #6 (facing the school fields and playgrounds) at 9:00am. 

Moving forward through the first two weeks of school, New Kindergarten Students will follow the Gradual Entry Schedule. 

It is very important all students attend school on Tuesday, September 2nd, so we can verify our expected student numbers.
