Dear Kingswood Families,

We are happy to announce that we are once again able to host another beloved Kingswood tradition---Pancake and Pajama Day on the last day of school, December 16th!

On this day, Kingswood parents Kelli Lawson and Jason Levelton, have once again offered to set up equipment and organize supplies to cook up pancakes for all of our staff and students to enjoy on the last day of school before we go off for winter break. This has always been such a beloved schoolwide event, and we thank them and our PAC for offering this to our school again.

We also thank Maanraj and Jagraj's grandmother, Mohinder Kaur, for making chai tea for our staff on this morning as well!

The PAC has generously offered to cover all of the expenses for this event and will also be coming out to help cook up pancakes and setting up for this day. However, we will need parent/guardian helpers to make this event run successfully. If you are able to help with mixing pancake batter and preaparing fruit platters starting early in the morning before school starts, we kindly ask you to contact the school office via telephone or you can also email me at bbahd@sd38.bc.ca.

We are requesting volunteers to help out for the following shifts on December 16:

Setup: arrive at 7am (3 people only)

Serving: arrive at 9am

Cleanup: around 10:30am onwards

This event is generously put on by these parents/guardians and our PAC as a way for our staff and students to be able to enjoy this last day before the winter break together. A reminder that this event is only for staff and students(not something that is offered for all families to be able to attend), but those parents helping volunteer may be able to enjoy some chai and pancakes at the end, once the event is done. We thank you for your consideration and offers of support for this special event!
